What a perfect night to be in this beautiful spot with a sweet family. I enjoyed meeting these polite and fun kiddos and was so touched by the parents loving and kind interactions with one another and with their children. They are praying for a new child from China even now, and how blessed that little baby will be!

Our little girls have been in the business of dog-walking for a neighbor just down the street. We have play dates with Mr Bentley and Miss Bella almost every day and they have become an extension of our family. Thank you, Mr Mark, for being so gracious and kind to Maggie and Poppy. They love their job!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since Little Jules blessed our world! I had the privilege of photographing her as a newborn, and it seems like just a few months ago. Happy Birthday, dearest little girl. You are dearly loved!

I know I say it a lot, but I love love. And being around a couple as sweet as these two is a genuine delight. Last week I tagged along with my friend, Shannon Phillips of Imago Vita Photography, and together we danced around Katie and Kevin in a beautiful field full of golden light and fabulous flowers.
